Out of Character Information
• I am always open to collaborative story-telling and open to using various systems (/roll, D&D 5e, Fate Core/ Accel, etc). I do appreciate open communication, and will do my best to maintain channels. I ask my collaborators to do the same as well!• My characters are both somewhat of an open book that changes dynamically depending on RP outcomes and events. Tutelage, lasting scars, etc., all fair game assuming a dialogue has been started. Some plots will come with caveats, especially if you're also seeking to join the Ward. I'm open to both long and short term plotlines otherwise. As always, In Character ≠ Out of Character.• Some of the content I write bends lore, but never breaks it. Some of my current plotlines and hooks takes a lot of inspiration from the Fabula Nova Crystallis series and mythos, as well of other media like Stormlight Archives, The Licanius Trilogy, etc. As such, I have the most fun writing high-fantasy esque plotlines, but am happy to collaborate in themes and genres outside of the high-fantasy niche.• I reside in MST, and currently work full time as a project manager. Playtime and hours will vary, however I am usually available on Discord and can schedule scenes ahead of time. Just bare this in mind if I do not respond to messages immediately.• I'm also available for PVE and PVP. If there's any content you want to run, just ask! I have Tanking, DPS, and Healing Classes available for content. My main is Garrett, although Vare is being brought up to speed too.• I run the Free Company and Discord Byregot's Ward, a Med-Heavy FC themed around intrigue, enterprise, adventure, and tropes common in Stormblood and Shadowbringers. • Good communication and collaboration. I like experimenting with different ideas and themes. But this means being on the same page OOCly on what to write.• Actual variation. FF14 (nevermind the franchise as a whole) had a lot of interesting lore and potential things to explore besides the Void, Garlemald, and Allag.• I also don't mind lore-bending a bit so long as the RP fits within the confines of the FF franchise and its themes. I also don't want to pretend that FF hasn't done weird shit in the past haha.• I can write in any genre, but I prefer high-fantasy, dark fantasy, and arcanepunk the most, so I'll likely jive most with others who prefer the same.What I'm Not Looking For
• WoL, Scions, Ascians, or other figures heavily tied to the MSQ. I know I mentioned variation above, but main characters integral to the MSQ are a No-Go.• Folks heavily reliant on mods and Lightless for their RP. Not that mods are bad as I use them myself, but if I can't recognize your vanilla character from your modded character, I'm not interested... Basically, no mod beasts please.• Overly gruesome plotlines or shit that is illegal IRL. If I'm not comfortable with something, I will tell you; If you yourself are questioning if I would not be comfortable with something, chances are you are correct. Ask anyway. I have a high tolerance for grimdark themes so if I do say I'm not okay with a plot, 'ya need to chill.• Folks ultimately just seeking to join Byregot's Ward trying to cut the line by sliding into my DMs first.
